I am new to business models and turned to this book in seek of help with model development for a number of my non-profit clients. I have now used the canvas in the book (and the overall method and way of thinking described) to help several organizations navigate through their re-design and re-thinking the way they work. It works really well and simply, and once you are used to it, you can even use it remotely to help guide from a distance. My clients consistently love the clarity this brings to their own thinking.

Amazing!, 2010-07-16
I've never seen the point of self-help books and to be honest thought most therapy was a little self-indulgent. This book did really open my eyes. Easy to understand and unpretentious, with common-sense examples about real life situations. A five-year phobia of tube travel disappeared pretty much immediately after reading it.

D5000 for Dummies, 2010-08-21
This book is like a bible to me.

A must buy for newbies.

If there is stuff you need to learn about your D5000 then this is the book to get especially if your fairly new to DSLR's and you need help on the techy terms you find in the magazines, forums and tutorials etc.

I really wanted to know about "depth of field" photography as my first little project and this book explains it very clearly and I can now create some more interesting photo's than just plain old point and shoot auto shots.

I hope this review is useful to people.

Easy to learn, great book!, 2010-08-17
I'm teaching myself the guitar and this book is so helpful and easy to read. Tells you how to play all the chords, how to care for your guitar, lots of very useful info in an informative and entertaining way. Thought i'd get annoyed at the 'funny' bits but they're cute. Best bit is the chord chart at the back though, very handy!
