Comprehensive, 2010-05-20 There is a wealth of information in the book. It is organised well and covers most areas of the topic in good detail. Not only is it a good "facts and figures" book but the photography and diagrams are excellent too. A "must have" for anyone interested in the subject. Also useful as an educational tool for older children.

Out of this world, 2010-06-07 This book is one of the best I've brought. The information is written in brief sections and yet it's well explained and easy to understand. It presents complex ideas in a way that lets the reader think they could give Einstein a run for his money. The photos are excellent and some are beautiful. The book is well worth the money and I'd recommend it.

Fabulous, Fabulous, Informative and Fabulous, 2009-06-12 I bought this book to learn a little more about the ocean and its ecosystems so that I could keep up with my own teenagers! I was totally impressed from the word go. The photographs are fantastic but the book is so usefully divided up into manageable sections that once I start to read a section I can't put it down. Packed with valuable information, this is much more than just a coffee table picture book. A great resource for students and parents alike.
