it gives a brief intro at the beginning of each chapter, then expands!
I keep it in my handbag at all times...for when i have 5 mins to read it....the bitesize way this book is written makes it so easy to pick up in those times when u have a few minutes.

i recommend this book to everyone i know studying or just merely interested in the topic :)
