Average rating of 5/5 a very good book, 2002-06-27
You are in search for information on a certain neuroactive substance? WEll, in this case, try this book. In short chapters there is an excellent overview on neuroactive substances, with a lot of detailled information, concerning biosynthesis of these substances, their receptors in the brain, the localization of the neuroactive substances and the receptors in the brain. And, last but nor least, the biological actions of these neuroactive substances is described.
Well and in addition, there is a big chapter on neuroscientific methods - thus, a very, very usefull book. I hope that the authors will continue their work on this topic and will present another book in the futur dealing with neuroscience.
