A Fin-Tastic Read, 2008-08-20 This book is the Dog Fish's B@llocks!
I recommend this to fans of all things fishy - young and old. From page one I was 'reeled' in. JR Hartley look out! BS Waters is the new Squid on the block.

A MUST READ, 2004-03-15 I bought this ages ago and couldn't put it down. It follows Peter Benchley after his hugely successful novel "Jaws" and details some of his real-life encounters whilst exploring the deep blue sea. It is a factual, easy read and a must for all shark fans. It also offers some sound advice for those who want to keep safe in the water - not only from sharks. It is a hugely interesting read which will make you laugh out loud in parts, and keep you on the edge of your seat in others. After reading this book I have a greater respect for this relatively unknown species, and an even more profound fascination of the Great White Shark.

The Best Catfish Books Around, 2007-03-02
All of the Aqualog books are excellent value, although they are not particularly cheap. They are full to the brim with first class colour photographs and to reproduce these in a book is an expensive process. Whether they are about Corydoras or some other species of fish they are the most comprehensive identification books you can buy. They never become dated because as new fish become available to the aquarist trade the books are updated.
They will not tell you how to set up a tank or what plants or rockwork you need. They will not tell you which filter to use or what type of substrate. They are a fish identification encyclopaedia and nothing more. But for those aquarists who are particularly interested in a particular species they are indispensable.

The definitive shark reference, 2006-01-03 This is not a book full of nicely photographed sharks that many other shark identification books often are. This is a small book packed from cover to cover with just about every scrap of information you could possibly want on every species of shark in the world. Colour plates show identification pictures whilst each shark is followed up with a drawing showing its outline and distinguishing characteristics. Information is given on habitat, feeding, indentification, behaviour, measurements, biology, distribution etc. Exploded drawings show the sharks body structure in detail that I have not seen given in any other book. The family tree of sharks is given and each animal's genus can be identified.A very useful pocket sized book. Conveniently sized for divers travelling worldwide on dive trips. Highly recommended.
