Average rating of 5/5 Fordhall Farm history, 2006-05-16
If you want to know about the history of Fordhall Farm and why it is so important that the Fordhall Farm Community Land Initiative saves it; read this book.

Written by the late father of Charlotte and Ben, who are raising money to buy the farm from the Landlord and save it from being lost forever under tarmac and industrial development, it is a fluent and charming account of the ups and downs; the pioneering activities (as well as organic farming methods, it was one of the first farms in the country to make live yogurts), and the family generations.

With all that the Hollins family have endured, this book really convinced me to support their plight to save the farm once and for all and ensure its availability for future generations of visitors to enjoy.
