excellent aid in exam success, 2009-11-06
As an approved electrician I can say the the IEE code of practice for inspection and testing of electrical equipment is an excellent aid in the City and Guilds 2377-12 exam. Unlike the 17th Ed regulations, the book is easy to navigate through using either the contents or index. Would highly recommend to anyone sitting the exam mentioned above.

Excellent apart from the language used., 2010-01-04
This book is a good as previous reviews suggest. I will be using it for this year and certainly into first year of uni. It is fun to use and easy to follow. The only negative point I have seen is that the language used is American English so words such as oesophagus are spelt esophagus but spell checker should solve that for written work.

I was already conscious of the effect of nutrition on health and disease but this book is a real show stopper.
I have often researched various aspects of health: environmental toxins, natural therapies etc but after reading this book I realise that nothing has a greater effect than what you eat. Sorry for the dodgy analogy, but if you think about your body as a musical instrument then your diet is the tuning. No amount of clever playing will sound good unless the instrument is in tune.
If this book doesn't get you eating a more vegetable based wholefood diet then heaven help you!

A very helpful manual, 2010-01-08
We purchased this for our son who is studying for GCSE. It is a good revison tool for him and is useful for us to refer to as well, so we can help him and understand what he is doing.
