Really really good. Essential preparation tool., 2010-09-02
Having tried another book before, I can honestly say that this one is far superior. The quality of the explanations makes all the difference. In particular, I was always puzzled in VR as to when you answer "can't tell" or "false" and the practice this book provided really helped me grasp the logic needed to analyse the long pieces of text given at the UKCAT. I was also grateful for the thorough preparation this book provides for QR because I managed the highest possible score in that section: 900! So, go for it. If you can only buy one book, this one is the one for you!

This book is simply a gem! The explanations are second to none and it is brilliant structures to approach the different types of exercises. Took UKCAT today and score QR:890, VR:790, AR:810 and DA:830 simply by practising with this book and the official UKCAT questions. This book will litterally transform your application into a winner!
A league above the other UKCAT books, 2010-09-03
Recommended by everyone I know, this book is most definitly the "bible" for UKCAT practise. I found it extremely well set out and explained. What was most valuable was all the tricks that it had within the answers/explanations for example to save time and avoid long calculations, or to get the logic right for VR, etc. This is what differentiates it from other books. I did my test last week and scored 810. The book is bang in line with the exam, except for the QR section which is is line with the harder QR questions that can come up at the exam. So good luck to everyone. I thoroughly recommend this book for anyone who wants to score high.

All I can say is that if you practise thoroughly with this book you will achieve miracles! I took the UKCAT last year and only achieved 590 by preparing with another book. This year, having made a false start with another book which turned out to be rubbish, I bought this one on the advice of several friends and scored incredibly high. I am over the moon !! OMG!!!
