About the Author Author - Darrell Locke Darrell has over 25 years experience in the Electrical Industry, which includes being employed by the Electrical Contractors' Association as their Technical Manager-Power for over 10 years. Much of Darrell's work is spent specialising in the continuous development of The IEE Wiring Regulations, BS 7671 in conjunction with the British Standards Institute and the IET (Formerly The Institution of Electrical Engineers) with whom he is a member. Over the years he has produced a number of publications and has spoken at conferences, seminars and live radio regarding various electrical matters. He has been deeply involved in the drafting of BS 7671: 2008 and also with the corresponding standards European and international level. Darrell is a Chairman of one of the four Panels of the Wiring Regulations committee dealing with a considerable amount of the document.
